Master Class

Too. Tired. To. Think.

Back home now. Here are some scenes from day six. A better summary of days six and seven after some long needed sleep.

You said it. I can't remember the last time I was this tired in my life. I'm back home now too and trying to describe to my loved ones how intense and amazing the class was. I think the garbled quality of my speech expresses my feelings better than the actual word choice. Wow, just wow.

And what a dedicated blogger you are! Not to mention art director. :-)

I'm going to miss double dessert.

Am I reading too much into those photos, or do artists tend to wear cool t-shirts?

I'm sitting here over my grape-nuts dreading and postponing the splashdown back to the day job. I just want the past week to be my whole life, all the time.

Getting up the courage to apply to this class was one of the very best decisions I ever made in my life.

Thanks for all your efforts in helping it happen, Irene! Nice to meet you in person. :)

Do you even really have a job Irene? Or do you just go to shows, conventions and seminars all the time?? =)

Wonderful coverage of the class, Irene. It was such a privilege to meet all of you fantasy art greats and absorb the knowledge and experience you so generously imparted to us. I will never forget this class. It was life-altering for me. I'm home, but struggling and reluctant to wake from the awesome Amherst dream. I might need therapy to rejoin reality. If ever this class is repeated, I encourage anyone considering it to move heaven and earth to attend. I am the individual on the 50's end of Irene's age bell curve and attending was the one of the best decisions of my life. Many recent art school graduates who attended expressed they learned more in these intense 7 days than they did in their whole 4 years of college. I'm not sure how you all accomplished that, Irene, but you succeeded and then some.
The only thing I won't miss....the pancake flat mattresses of the dorms.
Once again Irene, THANKS!

Yeah! I finally made it home after my flight was canceled and spent 20 hours at Bradley Airport.
Even with that said... WOW!
I really could not afford this, but I made it happen, and it's possibly the best decision I've ever made!
Will certainly do it next year!
Thanks to all the faculty for their dedication and hard work!

Anon - You are forgetting that I am shielding you from all the many nights I would have nothing more to write than, "Cleaned the cat box out!"

Once I played Anarchy, I did not know how to get strong, someone told me that you must have Anarchy credits. He gave me some Anarchy Online credits, he said that I could buy AO credits, but I did not have money, then I played it all my spare time. From then on, I got some Anarchy online gold, if I did not continue to play it, I can sell Anarchy gold to anyone who want.
